Public Access

We host over 2000 non-member user-days every year.  The public may use COSSA in several different ways:

  • COSSA is home to a number of programs that are open to the general public - no COSSA membership required. Click on one of the programs below for more info!

  • All matches are open to the public.  When you sign up for a match or a class listed on the calendar, you will be emailed a gate code for that event.  However, that does not grant you access to the entire range, only the match or class you signed up for.

  • The West range is open to the public for a $10 fee (exact change is required) the second Saturday of each month from April though October from 10am to 2pmThe West range is not inside the main COSSA complex (see the map on this page).  The West range does not have shooting benches or tables, and you must bring your own targets.

  • A COSSA member may escort, pay $10 per guest and supervise up to four guests onto the range.

COSSA sits on about 600 acres with over 20 shooting bays.  It is not possible to have safety officers in every bay, every day.  After paying their membership fee, our members must attend an orientation class and pass a safety test before they can use the range.
